Springtime in Newport,Open Gardens March 23rd

Just to let you know that this event is an Open Gardens not a guided walk around Newport as reported in the Advertiser!!  There are 12 gardens open, some in the town and 4 of the gardens are opening in Chetwynd Aston covering 8 acres in all, 3 in Pitchcroft Lane.  Newport is generally looking very pretty with all the spring flowers.

We will be serving all day food, tea/coffee/cakes, soups, baked potatoes and casseroles all served with crusty bread at the Beal’s 24, Station Road in a heated marquee by the legendary trolley Dollies!  You don’t need a ticket to come and eat there (if you don’t want to go round the gardens.)  Tickets on the day can be purchased at the Guild Hall in Newport and the individual gardens although they will be on sale beforehand at Card and Play, The Courtyard and the Pop Up shop.
