MP TO ATTEND PUBLIC MEETING AT NEWPORT, SHROPSHIRE – December 3 – 7pm

A Public Meeting on Monday December 3rd at the Royal Victoria Hotel, Newport, Shropshire will be addressed by Mark Pritchard, MP for the Wrekin.

Mr Pritchard is backing the town’s struggle to retain its high street economy in the face of multiple insensitive and inappropriate planning applications for supermarkets

and mass housing.

Mr Pritchard said:

“I do not support the Council’s plans. They are disproportionate and unsustainable. There is too much housing too soon and the Council’s supermarket plans would have a direct impact on the long term viability of the High Street. I am standing with all those who want to protect Newport from over-development”.

All are encouraged to attend the meeting on December 3rd.

We would like to put on record that we are very grateful to Mr.Pritchard to take time from his many engagements in and around Westminster to address the above meeting
