Day 10 & Attendance Plea

PLEASE IF YOU CAN ATTEND ON FRIDAY TO SUPPORT ALISON BLAKEWAY AND JANET CLARKE

Day 10 Post:

Mr. Crean QC, who acts on behalf of SNC, appeared at the Inquiry today expecting to question our consultant, Allison Blakeway, on the evidence submitted to the Inquiry on behalf of SNC. Unfortunately, due to the legal counsel acting for St. Modwen and for T&W both failing to keep to the timescales they had previously given the Inspector , all Mr. Crean QC was able to do,was to cross-examine Mr. Johnson on open space issues and highlight deficiences in the evidence regarding both the designation of the Station Road land and the use made by local residents.
Due to the need for other witnesses to give evidence on Thursday and part of Friday morning, Allison Blakeway will now not be able to give her evidence until some point on Friday. As Mr. Crean is not available on Friday, it has been agreed that Janet Clarke will assist in asking questions of Allison as regards the evidence.
As Allison will be cross-examined by the barrister representing St. Modwen, we would hope that as many people as possible will attend to give some ‘support in numbers’ for Allison.
